Welcome to AntoniO365

Welcome to my new site AntoniO365!

For those of you that know me, I’ve been fairly active on my other blog www.trustsharepoint.com for the last 6 years, since April  2012.  I’ve tried to include articles there which are useful, technically complete and accurate, which provide readers with information they can work with when solving a problem.  That blog has focused mostly on SharePoint and mostly on topics like SharePoint and Office 365 security, information governance and compliance.  It will continue to be live and available, but lately I’ve felt that many of the topics I wanted to write about really didn’t fit with its theme so I wanted to create a new space where I can start writing about other topics.

This is that new space and I hope you’ll find something helpful or entertaining here.  If feels like a new beginning where I can to share information, knowledge and experiences about the other Office 365 services that I also work with every day. I’m also looking forward to sharing a little about the hobbies I enjoy.

It’s About More than SharePoint

Since the dawn of Office 365, we in the SharePoint community have found ourselves working with lots of other Microsoft services beyond SharePoint – services like Exchange Online, Dynamics CRM, Skype for Business, Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Stream, as well as a host of Azure server-less compute services like Microsoft Flow, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Automation.  I find myself working on more and more diverse projects these days such as:

  • Planning and performing Exchange Migrations
  • Building Integrations between Dynamics CRM and SharePoint Online
  • Helping customers decide between SharePoint team sites, Office 365 groups or Microsoft Teams
  • Deploying OneDrive for Business
  • Building Business Process Automation Workflows using Microsoft Flow or Azure Logic Apps
  • etc.

There are many important technical aspects to all of these services that go well beyond SharePoint, and being versatile across the Microsoft cloud computing stack is now a must for all of us in this technical community.

Besides my work, I love spending time with my wife and kids, enjoying our various hobbies which for me includes:

  • Oil Painting
  • Wine Making
  • Texas Style BBQ

I’m looking forward to sharing stories and experiences on all of these topics here.  Hope you enjoy!
